Architecture direction. Build for multi-tenant fleet operations from day one, but keep Beta 0.1 operationally simple.

Front end

Static web application delivered through CloudFront, responsive for desktop, tablet and phone. English defaults to ENU with NLD available. The prototype is static; production will hydrate data through APIs.

Why relational storage

Mali is dominated by relational questions across vehicles, contracts, customers, drivers, compliance, values and dates. PostgreSQL/Aurora is therefore the preferred primary transactional store for the production direction.

Documents and OCR

Files live in private S3 storage. OCR/extraction can use Textract or another service, but extraction is advisory until a user confirms the result. The database stores pointers and metadata rather than the binary document itself.

Multi-tenancy and roles

Every production record carries a tenant boundary. Roles should support Owner/Admin, Fleet Manager, Lease Administration, Finance, Maintenance and Read Only. Audit events record actor, timestamp and affected entity.

Waarom relationele opslag

Mali draait om relationele vragen over voertuigen, contracten, klanten, bestuurders, compliance, waardes en datums. PostgreSQL/Aurora past daarom het best als primaire transactionele database.

Documenten en OCR

Bestanden staan privé in S3. OCR/extractie kan Textract of een andere service gebruiken, maar blijft adviserend totdat een gebruiker bevestigt. De database bewaart verwijzingen en metadata.

Elk productierecord draagt een tenantgrens. Rollen: Owner/Admin, Fleet Manager, Lease Administration, Finance, Maintenance en Read Only. Audit-events bewaren actor, tijdstip en betrokken entiteit.
